Kris Danford is currently assistant professor of Voice and Speech at Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon. She is also an actor and singer, having performed in New York and regionally in both straight and musical theatre. Kris has been on the faculty at the University of Iowa and the University of West Florida, and has experience teaching a variety of courses, including singing technique, voice, speech, and dialects. She is an associate teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework®, has an MFA in Acting from the FSU Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training, and is a proud member of Actors Equity Association.
