Bio: Karina Lemmer is a lecturer in the Drama Program at  Tshwane University of Technology’s Department of Drama and Film, were she teaches voice and acting. She completed an MA with a study that focused on Audio-psycho-phonology to improve the English pronunciation of Zulu-speakers. This study resulted in continued research into pronunciation testing, language notions and related areas. Karina is also a qualified TEFL instructor and has conducted training, coaching and applied theatre in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Kenya. She is working towards her Doctorate at the University of Pretoria and has published in peer reviewed journals and delivered papers at both national and international conferences.
