Lysistrata

Michael M. Shaw, professor emeritus at the University of Kansas, United States, speaks the following list of names and terms from the play Lysistrata, by Aristophanes. Professor Shaw was an associate professor in the Classics Department at the University of Kansas for nearly four decades. He authored the introduction to Anne Carson’s 2001 translation of Electra.
