Congratulations to Ben Corbett, who now joins the ranks of IDEA’s senior editors. Numbering just 10, our senior editors have contributed exceptional numbers of high-quality samples and other content to IDEA over a long period. Each of those so titled has contributed 30 or more samples to IDEA or, though outstanding service, allowed the archive to flourish.
Ben’s latest contribution to the archive is Arkansas 32.

On the whole, this is a very nice project with dialects from all over the world. As for me, I would like to hear speech samples from Scotland – native speakers from big cities like Glasgow to small villages. That would be just very cool since they have so specific accents which I adore. Do you have such a plans?
