Bio: Ben Corbett is a Designated Linklater Voice Teacher and a Certified Colaianni Speech Instructor. He is currently an assistant professor of voice and speech at the University of Arkansas. He most recently served a voice residency at the University of Kansas. He has also served on the faculties of the William Inge Center for the Arts at Independence Community College, Oklahoma City University, and Appalachian State University. His professional vocal-coaching credits include the Hollywood Fringe Festival, Last Frontier Theatre Conference, Shakespeare Dallas, City Rep, the William Inge Theatre Festival, Nashville Shakespeare Festival, Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park, Barter Theatre, Theatre Tulsa, Burning Coal Theatre Company, Bare Theatre, and Shakespeare Santa Cruz. He is a proud member of Actor’s Equity.
In 2023, Ben directed the documentary The Arkansas Accent Project, which won a Regional Emmy in Human Interest-Long Form Content:
