Ben Corbett’s ‘Arkansas Accent Project’ to debut

Congratulations to IDEA Senior Editor Ben Corbett, who recently directed The Arkansas Accent Project. The documentary will have its premiere on August 13 at 1 p.m. at the Museum for Fine Arts in Little Rock, Arkansas. Tickets are $10. Go here for more information.

The film joins six other Arkansas documentaries and features. Ben will be serving on a panel to talk about the movie and filmmaking in general at 3:50pm on that same day.

Ben wishes to thank the doc’s talented production team (including producer Ringo Jones and cinematographer Cameron Mosier), the theater department at the University of Arkansas, Louis Colaianni, IDEA, the Arkansas Humanities Council, the University of Arkansas, and private donors, in addition to his Arkansas, Alaska, Arizona, and Oklahoma family and friends, and his boyfriend.
