ASSOCIATE EDITOR, AUSTRALIA
Bio: Rhea Dowden is an aspiring young linguist from the Mount Magnet region of Western Australia. They come from a sheep and cattle station where their family has lived for over a century. They grew up surrounded by the local Badimaya language, which sparked their interest in the study of linguistics.
Rhea also enjoys performing in theatre and filmmaking, which they have been doing since the age of 5. They hope to one day complete their Ph.D in linguistics, and hope to study Aboriginal Australian languages and Australian dialects of English.
