Bio: Patrizia Anesa holds a Ph.D in English Studies from the University of Verona. She is a member of the Research Centre on Specialized Languages (CERLIS) (www.unibg.it/cerlis) at the University of Bergamo and teaches English Language and Translation at the same university, within the department of Foreign Languages, Literatures and Cultures.
Her research interests lie mostly in the area of specialized discourse, with particular reference to legal language, as well as in English varieties and ELF. She also cooperates with a number of international organizations and institutions as a consultant in the fields of discourse, conversation and frame analysis.
